A pandemic gripping the world was the kick in the pants our hero needed to act on his ambition to launch the UK’s finest mail-order cocktail company. And what started in 2020 as a local delivery service in the Highlands of Scotland has quickly grown to serve satisfied customers in all corners of the United Kingdom.

Grant worked tirelessly to create a range of cocktails featuring old favourites and cutting-edge new flavour combinations. With styles and strengths to suit all the tastes of all cocktail fans, his passion is bringing the joy of cocktails to the masses with no snobbery or elitism.

Grant Murray

Grant is an award-winning mixologist, with decades of experience creating stunning cocktails from the finest spirits and mixers. He loves nothing more than developing new drinks to bring smiles to his customers’ faces. As well as working in some of the world’s best cocktail bars over the years, he’s won numerous awards and accolades. Show off…


After tending bars for a time in Dundee, it was time for a change. Grant headed north to join the Cru Holdings team in Inverness.


Promoted to Multi-Site Manager, Grant took over two of the Highlands’ busiest and most adventurous cocktail bars – helping put Inverness on the mixology map.


The Devil In Me – Grant’s “boozy after-dinner cocktail” – was voted by Martel & Difford’s Guide as one of the top 10 cognac cocktails in the world. Fancy!


Grant travelled to London to compete in the final of the worldwide Cherry Heering Classic competition. He only went and won it too, the swot!


Winning the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Calling competition with The Usual, Grant earned a guest shift at The Dead Rabbit in New York – the world’s best bar!


In an interview with Forbes magazine, Grant discussed creativity in the world of mixology – outlining his process in developing new drinks.


Spurred on by the national lockdown, Grant co-founded MYXD with Scott Murray to bring bar-quality cocktails to people’s homes, gardens and… anywhere, really!
